EQUITAS UNIVERSALIS

The EQUITAS UNIVERSALIS (EQUNIV) Declaration of Democratic Rights and Freedoms (DDRF), source of defensible universal law, comprises the consolidation of immutable rights, freedoms and democratic imperatives founded upon indispensable judicial postulates including sovereign prerogatives originating from various nations.

The EQUNIV DDRF takes into account the various derivatives of Democracy and emphasizes the utmost importance of preserving the right to life, liberty, security and property, including the right to prevent and suppress any attack upon those rights. The EQUNIV DDRF also prescribes the right of the Peoples to limit and control governing powers and defend their sovereign interests in accordance with a universal Rule of Law and through use of Democratic Justice.

Under the EQUNIV DDRF, Democracy and democratic revolutions can only be exercised for the purposes of preserving democratic order. That democratic order must ensure the legal primacy of a valid social contract binding governors and the governed. The EQUNIV DDRF justifies any attempt at secession by a democratic sovereign majority whose survival of its cultural identity as of its political and economic autonomy is subordinated by a constraining authority.

Social harmony and world peace are achievable by proactively safeguarding and valorizing human dignity and worth. Liberty, Unity and Equity are the indispensable foundations of free and democratic societies. The EQUNIV DDRF belongs to all individuals and collectivities who aspire to these universal imperatives.
